Hi Theatre Deli folks,
We've got a new show at the Camden Fringe this year. It's called “Apologia”, and it's the real-life story of the notorious Count Cagliostro, once known as Europe's most dangerous man.
We researched 18th century magick and alchemy for our play ‘Apologia’. Fascinating and a bit scary. The challenge was designing the rituals so they are convincing but not entirely accurate. We didn’t want to ACTUALLY summon spirits during our performances.
Maurizio Molino plays the Count, Jagoda Kamov is the seductive Divine Serafina, Tommy Papaioannou is the mysterious Althotas and Luke Lindemann plays the even more infamous Grand Seducer Casanova.

Written by Gillian Mciver & directed by Jagoda Kamov, the piece combines text drama with physical theatre.
The truth really is stranger than fiction, as you will see in this bizarre story.
