CALL OUT: EDINBURGH FRINGE PREVIEWS
A free opportunity, including 100% of box office and marketing support to preview your fringe festival show.
The callout
Are you taking a show up to Edinburgh this year but looking for a London venue to preview your work before the festival? Then look no further.
Deli will be hosting Edinburgh Fringe Previews from Friday 22nd - Saturday 30th July.
The Format
Each evening 2 shows will be presented. Each artist/company will have 3.5 hours tech/get-in time during the day, and the first show will start at 7pm.
The offer
- Present a preview of your Fringe show (max 70 mins long) prior to heading up to Scotland.
- 2 performances will be presented each evening. The first will start at 7pm and there will be a 30 minute interval between shows.
- Each artist/company will have access to the performance space for 3.5 hours during the day of your performance. (First get-in slot will be 10am - 1.30pm, second get-in slot will be 2.30pm - 6pm).
- During your allocated ‘get-in’ slot you will receive an induction session to the tech equipment in the space; you will need your own operator to operate tech for your preview.
- Ticketing and box office will be managed by Theatre Deli, however you will get 100% of the box office for your show. Deli will be looking to offer multi-show ticket prices (e.g. £7 per show, 2 shows for £12, 4 shows for £20).
- You will be given marketing support in the form of an event page on our website, social media posts, a mention in our newsletter, and programme posters throughout our space. You are responsible for signposting people to these posts and driving your own audience engagement.
Optional: If you would like to livestream or capture your sharing for online use, we can provide a 2 camera setup and staff member at cost for:
- £180 - livestream/capture of 1 sharing
- £270 - livestream/capture of both nights OR livestream/capture of 1 sharing + edit
- £360 - livestream/capture of both nights + edit
(these optional additional prices include VAT)
Tech Spec
The lighting and tech station are cabled, rigged, and focused for end-on performance. The studio can accommodate a number of configurations and we will endeavour to programme similar configurations together, though please note it may not be possible to meet all requests.
We have various other tech equipment available. Please get in touch as early as possible with your needs and we will happily provide what we can.
The performance space has a capacity of up to 50 people in an end-on configuration, this capacity will be reduced for other configurations.

- One 4’ quarter circle staging
