'Critic in the Corner' is approaching its debut next week at Bread & Roses on 15th & 16th October!

If you're interested in watching a strong queer woman take down a narcissistic, misogynistic Hollywood actor then this show is for you. In light of recent events, its an extremely topical and deeply satirical show zoning in on the issue of men not suffering consequences for committing sexual crimes against women and girls.

A quick synopsis:
Lorenzo Ford, an aging British movie star, faces a PR shitstorm and impending fall from grace when a slew of sexual assault allegations against him emerge. Upon his return to the West End stage, 27 year old theatre reviewer, Josephine Price, writes a brutally honest review of his performance for her blog, ‘Critic in the Corner’. With the help of his feckless right-hand man and security guard, Brian, Lorenzo does what any fame-obsessed, power-hungry narcissist would do to control the narrative... he kidnaps her.

Please come along and support early career artists and a festival that amplifies underrepresented voices!
