This June at Upstairs at the Gatehouse we are re-mounting a comedy ensemble play (that had a very successful run at the Brockley Jack in February/March) and we are looking for a Lighting/Sound Operator with some additional Stage Manager duties. This role does not necessarily need a professional stage manager but someone who is interested and confident in technical theatre work.

Weds. 31st May - Rehearsal 1 (10am - 5pm)
Sat. 3rd June - Rehearsal 2 (10am - 5pm)
Thurs. 8th June - Rehearsal 3 (10am - 5pm)

Performances.
Mon. 12th June - Get-in/Tech
Tues. 13th June - Dress times TBC / 19:30 Opening Show
Wed. 14th June - 19:30 Show
Thurs. 15th June - 19:30 Show
Fri. 16th June - 19:30 Show
Sat. 17th June - 19:30 Show
Sun. 18th June - 16:00 Closing Show

Payment.
We are offering a flat fee of £225 pounds for the rehearsals, get in and tech, and 6 performances.

Scope of the role.
Running rehearsals/ rehearsal notes
On-book for rehearsals (blocking/cues etc)
Facilitating communication with theatre/tech team/lighting designer - directors/writer-producer
Minimally if needed - sourcing props

Supporting with get-in, set, rigging
Supporting programming of lights/sound for Tech
Running tech

Operating the show for performances
Cross-checking props list/table before performances
Re-setting set furniture before each performance
Show reports

Actors will be responsible for their own wardrobe and the venue has some Tech advice/support. A lighting designer is also on board and will be there for the get-in, possibly bringing a student or two to help out.
