Romance is virtual. Memories are trapped in the walls. Violence is only a stone's throw away. In the age of artificiality, connection feels as near as it is far. How do we settle for the little we know and commit to the love we have? How do we find meaning in our information obsessed society? And who put that hedgehog in the microwave? Within this fast-paced carousel of scenes, we use physical theatre, electronic and acoustic sound, video and poetic imagery to move the audience through the lives of the characters as if they are scrolling through social media reels, experiencing stories that are there one moment and gone the next.

Love and Information' by Caryl Churchill is a kaleidoscopic show consisting of over 30 scenes featuring more than 60 different characters. We are Out of Pocket Theatre, a brand new theatre company formed by graduates from the Oxford School of Drama. We are so excited to be taking our production of ‘Love and Information’ to the Cockpit Theatre! You can catch the show on these dates:

10th August (7:00pm)
11th August (2:00pm)
