WE ARE ALL FISH
I’m building the set for a new theatre production and looking for FREE / RECLAIMED materials that might otherwise be thrown away.
LOOKING FOR:
Large sheets of paper / card
Thick cardboard / corrugated card
Paper rolls / large-format paper
Plywood sheets — ideally around 18 mm
Strong structural timber / wooden planks
Timber around 2 metres long
Shorter timber pieces / offcuts for supports and bracing
Other useful lightweight set-building materials
We are creating a handmade world with paper furniture, props and scenic elements, alongside two wooden performer platforms approximately 2 m × 1.7 m.
The wooden materials need to be suitable for a performer to walk, move and lie on safely.
Even small quantities or leftover materials would be really useful.
