About the Facilitator Nicolette Kay
Nicolette trained at the Drama Centre London. Before switching to directing, she worked as an actress playing leading roles. She is the Artistic Director of New Shoes Theatre.
Her Drama Centre training was based on the Stanislavsky technique, the Psychology of Movement with YAT and the Physical Theatre of Michel St Denis with John Blatchley. Nicolette later studied as a Pilates instructor with Alan Herdman at his reformer studio.
The Organic Sequence workshop was inspired by her later training with the Balkan Director Mladen Materic and her observation of his rehearsal in France.
