This ten-week course is delivered through a combination of online lecture presentations, online Q&A small class sessions, online 1-to-1 tutorials, along with live & in-person intensive workshops at Theatre Deli. We focus on helping you, the professional actor, create the most distinctive and compelling characters possible through the Immediate Acting Technique. This technique is a hybrid of the very best aspects of 20th and 21st century acting methods developed by our founder, Stephen C. Buckwald. This course will help participants develop and deepen their skills in Researching, Analysing, and Performing characters that will both challenge and stretch your acting abilities. Our next Scene Study I course will run weekly from Friday, 19 April until Thursday, 20 June 2024. The first six weeks are online with Week 7 (Thursday, 30 May thru to Saturday, 1 June from 10AM to 5PM) and Week 9 (Thursday, 13 June thru to Saturday, 15 June from 10AM to 5PM) taking place at Theatre Deli.
