The Old Vic - A Christmas Carol

Tiny Tim Casting Call

We are looking for a child aged 9+ (and under 4’6”) to play one of our Tiny Tims in the 2022/2023 revival of A Christmas Carol. Please note that this one role will be shared between four children. In this production, the role of Tiny Tim is played by a disabled child so applicants without a disability will not be considered. Please note that any access requirements will be discussed at the point of submission.

Tiny Tim is nine years old and has the extraordinary power to melt Scrooge’s (and the audience’s) heart.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be available for rehearsals and performances from Monday 03 October 2022 to Saturday 07 January 2023 inclusive. It would be preferable if you reside within an hour’s commute of The Old Vic. Auditions will take place over the next few weeks — please apply as soon as possible. Please also share this with anyone who might know suitable children for this exciting project.

HOW TO APPLY

Please apply using the online application form here.

Alternatively you can email saffeya.shebli@oldvictheatre.com to apply, with TINY TIM in the subject line. Please give us the child’s name, the name and contact details of a parent or guardian, a recent photograph or headshot of the child, and tell us a little bit about the child and their interests. Please specify at point of application if the child has any access needs that we need to be aware of, in order to facilitate an audition
