A dynasty falls. Fascism rises. Peaceful Europe plunges into World War.

The World of Yesterday steps into the memories of Austrian Jewish writer Stefan Zweig as his unshakeable belief in cooperation and friendship comes up against an increasingly fractured world.

The pivotal moments of a life caught in the chaos unravel with art, dance, live music, and his own words.

Award-winning theatremaker Anya Ostrovskaia leads a diverse, international group of artists in this experimental cabaret experience.

20th-25th August at The Courtyard Theatre
